California summer workshops!

After an incredible year in Tuscany, we’ve returned to our home-away-from-home in Neo-Toscana, (as a friend affectionally calls the California wine region), for the Summer! So happy to be back to the land that raised my little family, land of big sunsets, long swims, and watermelon slices.

I’m pleased to say we have a busy California summer planned, with workshops in San Francisco, Berkeley, Marin and Los Angeles! I wanted to make sure I was able to squeeze in a few right here at the studio where it all began.

I will be offering two workshops next week (!) . First, on July 21st, at 5pm our beloved cocktail napkin class returns, where each participant will go home with two sets of 6 cocktail napkins of their own making. This class will be in the early evening with an aperitivo .

The second will be a paper marbling class at 11am on July 24th. Here, we will marble paper with the intention to turn the pages into an object. Participants have the option to have their papers made into beautiful objects, such as picture frames, leather bound notebooks, pencil cups, or letter sorters, by Ansuini & Co binders in Florence. I will bring the papers back with me in September and our binders will assemble and bind the objects to your specification and mail back in October. (*Items will incur an additional cost.)
